Corallimorpharian genome supports the monophyly of Scleractinia and illuminates the cellular evolution of coral calcification

We performed single-cell RNA sequencing of the corallimorpharian Ricordea yuma and the stony coral Galaxea fascicularis to characterize their cell-type diversity and compare cell-type evolution between corallimorpharians and scleractinian corals.
