Live-cell Phase Contrast image dataset using a balanced class benchmark assay

Dataset generated for 10.1101/2025.04.22.649936 (doi.org/10.1101/2025.04.22.649936) , using an assay with 6 balanced MoA classes. The dataset contains time-lapse images of A549 and U2OS cells. The cells were cultivated in an benchmark assay developed for a paper where analysis of a single time-point versus analysis of the full time-lapse was evaluated as a way to determine if adding temporal data could enhance the mined features and improve downstream tasks. The experimental set-up consists of three biological replicates (i.e. three plates with unique layout variants) for each cell-line (A549 and U2OS) with 5 technical replicates (i.e. 5 wells) and 15 DMSO control wells each - for a total of 15 replicates and 45 DMSO replicates for each cell-line.
