Transcriptomic profiling of lead-induced neurotoxicity in differentiated SH-SY5Y cells

Listed in NCBI GEO

Lead is a persistent environmental neurotoxicant that can disrupt neuronal homeostasis through oxidative stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and inflammatory signaling.

Description

This study generated bulk RNA-sequencing data to characterize transcriptomic responses to sub-lethal lead exposure in differentiated human SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cells. The dataset includes six independent lead-treated biological replicates and six untreated control biological replicates.

These data provide a resource for investigating molecular pathways, regulatory networks, and potential biomarkers associated with lead-induced neurotoxicity.
