Comprehensive Profiling of the GlycoRNA Landscape in Extracellular Vesicles

Listed in NCBI GEO

Glycosylated RNAs (glycoRNAs) have recently been identified on the cell surface, yet their intercellular transfer mechanisms remain unclear.

Description

Given the central role of extracellular vesicles (EVs) in cell–cell communication, here, we investigated the presence, composition, dynamics, and trafficking of EV-associated glycoRNAs. Combining metabolic glycan labeling with high-throughput sequencing, we constructed an EV glycoRNA library, revealing subsets not previously detected in cell surface glycan studies.
