Genetic regulation of tRNA and its trans effect on genetic disease

Listed in NCBI GEO

In this study, we predicted multiple tRNA regulators based on large-scale smRNA-seq data and identified several potential regulators, including ZNF460 and MEF2C.

Description

To further validate the functions of these potential regulators, we generated knockout strains for each gene in HEK293T cells using two independent shRNAs (biological replicates), each with three technical replicates. We then performed small RNA-seq experiments after nuclear extraction to measure transcriptome-wide differences in tRNA abundance.
