Description

Poly inosine:cytidine (PolyI:C) is a double-stranded RNA mimic that activates an anti-viral response through TLR3 signaling and leads to activation of NK cells. Here we administered PolyI:C to female NOD mice in order to understand how NK cell activation changes the islet microenvironment by altering transcriptomes of islet cells.
