Qualitative analysis of factors that support student wellbeing in Health Sciences

Undergraduate students from the Health Sciences who participated in the face-to-face brief interviews and a focus group session. The current study describes and explores factors supporting the wellbeing of undergraduate students using a qualitative, phenomenological approach by conducting a secondary analysis of an existing data set.

To be specific, the phenomenological stance is used in the form of an interpretative epistemological paradigm. Convenience and purposive sampling were implemented. Data were generated through brief face-to-face interviews (n=427) and a focus group (n=6).
