Base transcriptomes of seven, untreated patient-derived MPNST cell lines, two of which are PRC2-WT and five PRC2-LoF

Listed in NCBI GEO

MPNSTs are aggressive sarcomas of peripheral nerve sheath with no approved targeted treatments.

Description

Inactivating mutations in the genes that encode for subunits of the Polycomb Repressive Complex 2 (PRC2) are common genetic events that lead to loss of H3K27me3 and subsequently high grade tumors with worse clinical outcomes for patients with Neurofibromatosis type-1. We profiled transcriptomes of seven patient-derived MPNST cell lines of varying PRC2 status (WT vs LoF) with the intention to detect gene expression differences that might be driven by loss of PRC2 function.
