Bridging Education and Practice: Evaluating a Design Coding Collaboration

Through the extra-curricular project, MUD-Lab students contributed area analysis work to the development of a borough-wide design code for Stockport, giving them first-hand experience of planning and urban design practice in this context.

This research studied participant insights into the process and outcomes of the project, and considered the ways in which the project delivered social value for the different stakeholders and organisations involved. The dataset includes transcripts of a focus group and five interviews which were collect as part of this evaluation. The included methods statement provides further information.</p>
