Development, Content Validation, and Clinical Feasibility Testing of RetroDas: A Novel Rehabilitation Protocol for Older Adults

This dataset is part of a mixed-methods study titled “Development, Content Validation, and Clinical Feasibility Testing of RetroDas: A Novel Rehab Protocol for Older Adults.” The study aims to develop and evaluate a backward movement–based rehabilitation protocol designed to improve balance, mobility, and motor-cognitive integration in older adults (60 to 80 years). The research was conducted in four phases: (I) protocol development based on literature and clinical principles, (II) expert validation using the Delphi method and Content Validity Index (CVI), and (III) a feasibility study.

The present dataset corresponds to Phase IV, involving a two-group pre–post design with 24 participants undergoing a 4-week intervention (4 sessions/week) assessed at 3 time-points (Pre, mid and post). The dataset includes demographic variables and outcome measures such as Timed Up and Go (TUG), Berg Balance Scale (BBS), 10-Meter Walk Test (10MWT), and cognitive-motor performance scores collected at baseline, mid-intervention, and post-intervention.
