Transcriptomic profiling of human vaginal wall tissues from patients with pelvic organ prolapse and controls

Listed in NCBI GEO

Pelvic organ prolapse (POP) is associated with structural and molecular changes in the vaginal wall.

Description

Bulk RNA sequencing was performed on vaginal wall tissue samples collected from patients with POP and controls. Gene expression profiles were compared between the two groups, followed by differential expression and functional enrichment analyses.

This study describes transcriptomic changes in human vaginal wall tissues associated with POP.
