Description
The department of Health and Welfare sponsored a Retirement Survey to study the retirement patterns and expectations of Canadians who are presently retired and help define the conditions which will enhance the quality of life for those who will soon retire or for those who are contemplating retirement within the next 10 years, possibly before age 65. Topics of interest include: income expectations, awareness and knowledge of CPP and OAS, quality of life, and retirement age.
Respondents were also grouped according to demographic variables.
