Bulk RNA Seq of Mouse RPE/Choroid from AAV-overexpressed IFN-beta and Control

Listed in NCBI GEO

Type-I IFNs have been implicated in the development and progression of retinal disease, however the concequence of long term ocular exposure to Type-I IFN and the cell types that are impacted has not been characterized.

Description

This study uses AAV2 to overexpress IFN-beta to achieve prolonged retinal exposure with a single intravitreal injection. We have then employed a bulk RNA to examine the response of the RPE and choroidal cells to prolonged Type-I IFN exposure.
