The causal associations with serum metabolites across inflammatory cytokines and CRC

Listed in ScienceDB

AXIN1 and Flt3L were identified as protective factors for CRC, while DNER and VEGF-A were associated with increased risk.

Description

Therefore, for exposure-outcome pairs where serum metabolites have β values in the same direction (either both greater than 0 or both less than 0), the serum metabolites in the exposure-outcome pairs involving these two types of inflammatory cytokines exhibit opposite causal effects on CRC, and vice versa.

The total number of participants reflecting the items for serum metabolites.
