Study on screening methylation molecular markers in umbilical cord blood DNA of preterm infants with preeclampsia using methylation chip

Genome-wide DNA methylation profiles were analyzed in umbilical cord blood samples obtained from 10 preterm infants born to mothers with preeclampsia (observation group) and 10 preterm infants born to mothers without preeclampsia (control group) using the Illumina Infinium MethylationEPIC (850K) BeadChip.

Clinical data were collected and compared between groups, including maternal and neonatal characteristics. The diagnostic performance of candidate DMPs was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis
