Migrating adipose stromal cells fuel regenerative adipogenesis in injured muscle [scRNA-Seq]

Listed in NCBI GEO

Muscle repair following injury is a complex process.

Description

We previously demonstrated the key role played by Adipose stromal cells (ASCs) from subcutaneous adipose tissue in this process. Using single-cell RNA-seq approach we were able to trace which ASC sub-populations contribute to this phenomenon.

In addition following these cells in the muscle, we propose that their transient differentiation into adipocytes is beneficial to muscle repair.
