Barcoded lineage tracing of diverse cell types within the developing mouse embryonic gut.

Listed in NCBI GEO

The gut is a heterogeneous organ consisting of derivatives of all three germ layers.

Description

To determine the lineage relationship between different gut cells, we labelled embryos with barcoded lentivirus at embryonic day 7.5 (E7.5), collected different regions of the gut at E16.5 and performed single cell RNA-sequencing(scRNA-seq). We analysed different types of mesenchymal, endothelial, epithelial and immune cells as well as enteric nervous system cells.

The data allows us to make inferences about clonal relationships and regional commitment at the time point of injection.
